Freycinet Lodge can be reached from Launceston, via Lake Leake (2 1/2 hours drive). A spectacular view of 'The Hazards' on Freycinet Peninsula from a lookout north of Cranbrook. Through Coles Bay township to the entrance to Freycinet National Park. The Lodge is 2 km from the entrance to the National Park.The expansive, One Room Cabins feature a ensuite bathroom with shower, plunger coffee and quality tea making facilities, refrigerator, CD player (CD library available at reception), and glass doors that lead to a private balcony with views of the parks natural landscape. Bedding is one King Bed and one Double Sofa Bed within an open living area.The Bay Restaurant, located in the main Lodge building has a stunning view of Great Oyster Bay. Opens daily for breakfast and dinner. Richardson's has views of Coles Bay and opens 10 am daily serving snacks, light lunches. In the summer months, opens for dinner as well.Low rise, lodge style accommodation.Small lobby, mountain resort style.Well known Tasmanian property, known for its cuisine as well as a good standard of accommodation.
