The Plaza Quebec is a haven of relaxation with its cascading waterfalls, tropical garden and rare attention to refinement and classical elegance. It is a highly recommended conference site, because it is unquestionably one of Quebec City's hidden treasures with its Victorian architecture. Situated in the heart of the city's economic centre, the hotel is a stone's throw away from the Pierre-Laporte and Quebec bridges. The 233 elegant rooms offer views overlooking the swimming pool and tropical garden, or a view of old Quebec. Classic rooms feature either two double beds or 1 queen bed that can accommodate up to quad occupancy based on sharing existing beds. Other facilities include a refrigerator, voicemail, modem, and high-speed internet. The tropical garden includes an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool spa, fitness centre, sauna, tanning beds and massage. Hotel amenities include same-day dry-cleaning (weekdays only), a gift shop and convenience store, business centre, room service, airport shuttle and babysitting service upon request. Nearby activities include biking and skating trails, winter skating rink and cruises on the St. Lawrence River. Le Concerto restaurant offers the best of continental cuisine whilst the cocktail bar provides a happy hour with a light buffet of hors d'oeuvres while musicians enliven the evenings from Wednesday to Saturday.
