In the heart of Valparaíso is a narrow street called Calle Higuera, located on the hill Cerro Alegre, once one of the most elegant neighborhoods in the city and whose residents were powerful English and German immigrants. Here travelers will find Casa Higueras boutique + design hotel. Casa Higueras places morehigh importance on hospitality, charm, and elegance, with a special emphasis on personal attention so that guests will feel at home.Traditional room type are more spacious, larger size than Standard rooms. Befitting a restored mansion, rooms differ quite a bit in size and layout, but all are outfitted with interesting furniture and fixtures of a high standard. Most have a good view through extensive windows and/or have a private terrace. All rooms are equipped with minibars, flat-screen TVs with DVD player, safes, and a mix of comfortable furniture. The free Wi-Fi was spotty during my visit, but there are two complimentary computers set up in a lounge area if that fails.On site Restaurant.
