Centrally located in Haitang Bay, it is 40 minutes from the airport and downtown Sanya and 5 minutes from the China Duty Free Complex. The Sanya EDITION is a new unique destination offering unexpected experiences and delivering simple sophistication to the next generation of luxury travelers. Water, a source of both vitality and serenity, defines the lush 50-acre property, which features a spectacular private "ocean." Here, gondolas transport guests to an extraordinary floating restaurant and families enjoy beach-side cafes and cabanas. The sense of luxurious tranquility is established at the reception area, where a pool and live bamboo grove serve as a counterpoint to a curated art gallery displaying the work of renowned artists. All 506 guestrooms have ocean views, as do the collection of villas perched on a terraced hillside. At the meeting center, the separation between outside and inside disappears with teak-floored rooms and louvered wood panel walls opening onto a sunken courtyard and garden area.
