This old castle hotel is in the town of Tylstrup, a 20-minute drive north of Aalborg. It is easy to find from the E39 motorway. The hotel has a large garden in beautiful surroundings. The castle was built in 1645. It is said that Mariane Dorethe, a previous owner, has haunted the castle since her death in 1808 to search for her child, who drowned in the moat. The Fårup Sommerland amusement park and the beaches on Blokhus are only a 20-minute drive from Vraa Slotshotel. It is 40 km from the town of Hirtshals. It has its own restaurant where you can eat a delicious dinner. After dinner you can go onto the terrace, or stroll in the garden by the restaurant. Every room has a four-poster bed and its own charm. After a good night's sleep, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast before visiting Skagen which is a one-hour drive from the hotel. There is also wine tasting in the hotel's own wine cellar every Saturday.
