This nice hotel is close to the train station, five minutes drive away from the beach and ferry terminal, ten minutes from the Channel Tunnel and right in the heart of the city.The hotel offers rooms decorated in a traditional style but all offering modern facilities such as trouser press, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities, satellite TV and direct dial telephone. The rooms are generally medium in size, the decoration and furniture are different from room to room but always traditional in style.The restaurant is set in a large, cosy and comfortable room, enhanced with oak panels. It proposes a large choice of dishes and wines and often hosts dinner parties.This hotel was first built in 1771 but destroyed during the Second World War. It was then rebuilt in 1954-55 as the actual stylish and large building.The lobby is medium in size with the main staircase with wrought iron and brass banister its main feature.
