This property is located on Le Sillon, the long stretch of waterfront which leads away North Eastwards of the old town of St Malo. It is about a 15 minute walk from the old town, but has direct access to the beach and fine views of the sea.The small to medium sized rooms are furnished to meet the basic comforts of the traveller. Whilst there are no frills, this hotel is very comfortable with basic and bright colour schemes and simple, yet modern furnishings.The hotel does not have a restaurant. The breakfast room, just behind the lobby, is a bright, airy and functional area decorated in a fresh and light colour scheme.The building is set back from the road and dates from the beginning of the 20th century. It is part of a terrace. The style is very much local, with pale walls and steep slate rood.The lobby area is very small with a very limited seating area. Yet, as with the rest of this hotel, the area is bright and fresh, with light painted walls and light shades of woodwork.A good basic hotel with superb sea views and easy accessibility to the beach. 03/08 EB
