It is once again a polished and sophisticated luxury 4 star hotel on the banks of the iconic River Lee, just minutes walk from the centre of this busy, bustling city, filled with culture and great things to see and do. The Spa and Health Club with 18m Pool is superb too. Home to beautiful works of art, stunning architecture and well-cultivated gardens, University College Cork is a must-see for anyone visiting the city.\n\nRooms\nElegantly decorated in classic decor, the Classic King or Classic Twin room offers you a place of serenity and relaxation. With a spacious and elegant bathroom and plenty of storage space, these rooms are finished to the highest standard.\n\nRestaurant\nThere are a plethora of dining options to suit all tastes and requirements. The casual, relaxed bistro is called The Springboard, referencing the fact that the site of The Kingsley was originally the home of Corks renowned public baths, the Lee Baths, which opened in 1934 and closed in 1986. The chic Fairbanks Restaurant is so named in a nod to the famous Cork ballad The Banks of My Own Lovely Lee, a song beloved by Corkonians which celebrates the beauty of the city and its river. The K Lounge is the relaxed lobby venue perfect for catching up over a coffee, having a light lunch or in-between snack, or enjoying a classic Afternoon Tea. The intimate and attractive bar at The Kingsley is called Fishers, in tribute to the hotels appropriate and individual little emblem the stylish and vibrant kingfisher.\n\nExterior\nModern design with the original main house built in the late 90's and 2 newer wings added more recently. The Hotel is in a U shape\n\nLobby\nLarge open plan lobby with floor to ceiling windows at the back looking out over the River Lee. There is plenty of plush, comfortable seating.
