The Vecchia Masseria is a typical and extraordinary rural building, a symbol and monument of rural civilisation dating back to 1856. Surrounded by 2000 hectares of woods in the archaeological natural park, on the Ganzaria Mountain, it has dominated the Gela Plain for almost three centuries. The unique historical complex, built in the heart of Sicily by Baron Guccione Andrea, from Palermo, was built with local stones and materials, becoming a large farm or masseria, which offered accommodation to the farmers employed in the processing and cultivation of the surrounding land.Charming and characteristic standard double rooms, superior rooms and flats with all comforts: en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, heating, TV, Sky and flats with kitchenette and living room.The impeccable touch of the in-house chef delights the most demanding palates with delicious dishes with typical local flavours, prepared with taste and originality.
