The 3-star Antica Casa Carettoni is situated in an enviable location on the pedestrianised Lista di Spagna, often thought of as the Gateway to Venice. Just a few minutes' walk from the train station of Santa Lucia and the transport hub of Piazzale Roma, access to the airport and access to Venice's major tourist landmarks is equally convenient. The Grand Canal and its vaporetto stops (waterbus) is just a few steps away meaning getting around this unique city couldn't be easier. This bijou property offers 16 air-conditioned and contemporarily decorated guestrooms, all of which are equipped with hairdryer, TV, safety deposit box, private bath/shower and refrigerated mini-bar. Considering the hotel lies in the heart of the Cannaregio quarter of Venice, cultural and historical attractions such as the Ghetto, are literally on the doorstep. Complementing the hubbub of restaurants, bars and pizzerias, Cannaregio's quieter quarters are often considered as the true Venice - truly magical and inspirational.Guests should note that local city tax is not included in the rate booked. This will be charged directly to guests by the hotel and payable at check in/out.
