Majestically overlooking the Grand Canal and dating back to the 15th century, the Palazzo of the 5* Ca' Sagredo Hotel has been declared a National Monument. Amazingly, even after five centuries, it preserves the untouched beauty of an ancient noble residence with ballrooms and spacious corridors displaying important paintings, frescoes and stuccoes by the most representative Venetian painters of the 17th and 18th centuries. Guests are sure to find a haven of comfort in any one of the hotel's 42 magnificently-appointed rooms and suites with stunning views over either the Grand Canal, Ca' D'Oro, Campo Santa Sofia or the historical Rialto Market. The hotel is a true gem, skilfully and faithfully renovated to enhance its original noble features; the restoration lasted more than seven years and was supported by the Fine Arts of Venice, bringing the palace back to his ancient splendour. No other hotel combines elegance, history and hospitality with the same passion where each room is quite unique and decorated differently in a style of subtle yet highly refined elegance. Any guest choosing this remarkable property is sure to feel like an 18th century Venetian noble - a rare example of time having stood still.
