Situated in the elegant "Sestiere" (quarter) of Dorsoduro, the Agli Alboretti is a very fine, family-owned 3-star hotel that for years has been meticulously run by a true and proud Venetian, Ms Anna Linguerri, and her dedicated staff. Located strategically facing the Accademia Gallery, the hotel is just a few minutes away from the Guggenheim Collection, Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge. Housed in one of Venice's many historic buildings, the Agli Alboretti exhudes a calm and relaxing atmosphere despite its central location and offers a total of just 23 rooms, all of which are equipped with private facilities, satellite TV, wireless internet connection, mini bar and air conditioning. Complementing the welcoming ambience of the hotel, are the courtyard garden (just perfect for breakfast in Summer!) and a rooftop terrace reached by something of a rarity in historic Venetian buildings, namely an elevator! Also important to note is that the Line no. 1 water bus (vaporetto) stop is just 1 minute's walk from the hotel and, best of all, for guests arriving in Venice with heavy luggage, there are no bridges to cross!
