The ryokan is one of hot spring inns standing on both sides of the main street, in the one-street-village, Noboribetsu Onsen. It takes 15 minutes by public bus or taxi from JR Noboribetsu Station and it is just a few steps from Noboribetsu Onsen Bus Terminal to the hotel. Noboribetsu is located in south-western Hokkaido and is one of the most well-known hot spring areas. The source of the village's hot spring water is called "Jigoku-dani" (Hell Valley) which produces 10,000 tons of hot spring water a day. Jigoku-dani is an area surrounded by mountains, but is free from vegetation, steams from its surface and generates odor of sulfur. It is one of major tourist spots in the town.Japanese style rooms are in traditional Japanese style with Tatami floor (straw mats). There is no bed facility of western product. By day, the rooms are furnished with a low table and zabuton floor cushions on Tatami. There is also a sitting area with two armchairs and a coffee table. By night, the room is transformed with Japanese futons into a sleeping area by room-maid. Each room has its own bathroom and toilet (Hot water from the bathrooms is NOT hot spring one). All are clean and in good condition.Dinn
