Opened in the known as "belle époque", it was built in 1896 and completely restored in 2004. It has been restored along with the Casino building, by the architect Rafael Moneo, respecting its original façade, classified as of National Tourist Interest. At the refurbishment of the Gran Hotel, all the materials used have been meticulously selected, all the original stonework being in its entirety, replacing new pieces manually carved equal to the original ones. The wood that lines its walls is oak and the floors of the rooms are polished and polished Cenia stone, and the rest made of wooden flooring made of oak.
