The last residence of the Ottoman Grand Muftis, the Palais Bayram Hotel is ideally located in the heart of the oldest part of the historic Medina, a short walk from the Great Mosque of Ez-Zitouna and the Kasbah, on the road to Turbet-el-Bey. The Palais Bayram is one of the few hotels dating back to the 18th century and restored in the traditional style, with its original decor, painted woodwork and coffered ceilings, marble, earthenware, and traditional stucco.
