Since they are exempt this condition can only be verified at check-in at the hotel where the original passport must be provided and a copy of the page with the data and the page where the stamp is located will be taken. Colombians residing abroad may request the exemption by presenting their passport with the respective entry stamp to the country at the establishment. Guests are reminded to request it from immigration upon arrival even if they enter by biometrics. The exemption is only for accommodation it does not include other services and the invoice is generated in the name of the passport holder and the reservation holder.
